Ale Conrado Carcasona (b 2001) is a Spanish artist, currently
based in the Netherlands. In her practice, she works closely with her
subjects and touches on the topics of human interactions, emotions
trauma, and intimacy. In her work, she strives to capture capture the essence
the person she is connecting with.
With an interest in psychology and spirituality, conversations that go
beyond the surface level become an integral part in the initial stages
of her projects, in order to convey their stories in a raw and honest
way, spreading awareness on those topics that can sometimes be
considered to be taboo or hard to talk about.
Through photography and text she presents her projects, combining
thoughts, snippets of conversations and parts of her research into the
end result of the work, this can be seen in galleries and photo books.
Post-production plays an important role in her method of working,
as she transforms ordinary images into dream like bodies of work, as
an attempt to visualise a variety of emotional states.
