Born in Brazil in April 1997, I’ve always had a fixation with languages since I was a child. I moved to Spain in 2008 with my mother and haven’t stopped learning since then. I fell in love with translation when I was given the opportunity to participate in a localization team at Valve Software. What started out as a hobby ended up becoming my full-time occupation in which I translated extremely popular video games, such as Dota 2, Counter Strike: Global Offensive and Portal, as well as the Steam platform UI and other services. I learned a lot from that experience, which allowed me to work on other translation projects for companies like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, as well as other independent film captioning projects. Some other examples of my previous work include Marvel Android games, Twitter web and mobile, and some interfaces for hardware products including HTC Vive, Steam Link and Steam Controller.
